The Symphonic Strings have recently been awarded an invitation to perform at the prestigious National Band and Orchestra Festival held in Carnegie Hall in New York City. The students will be traveling on Wednesday, March 31st through Saturday, April 3rd, 2010.
Along with performing at this prestigious festival in Carnegie Hall, the students will have the unique once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a clinic with renowned conductor and Julliard faculty member, Maestro George Stelluto, and tour surrounding New York City Landmarks such as Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, WTC Ground Zero, and attend a Broadway show.
